Hello, and thank you for visiting! I'm A.P. Brar, the owner and lead shooter/editor at Dope Pixels Productions.
A little about myself: I was born in Bathinda, Punjab, India, and moved to Canada in 2011. Since 2014, I've been living in Edmonton, AB. I proudly call myself an artist, not just a photographer/videographer, because art extends beyond capturing images; it’s about perceiving and feeling things through a unique lens and presenting them in a captivating way that tells a unique story.
My journey began in early childhood with drawing portraiture and cultural paintings, a talent I inherited from my father, who was an architectural enthusiast skilled in architectural drawings and freehand 3D art. I was also greatly inspired by my elder brother, an excellent fine art portraitist and digital art creator. Growing up during the technological boom, I transitioned my art into digital forms, using cameras, computers, and everything in between to tell compelling stories about people and culture.
I found my passion for photography & editing in my high school days and eventually turned into my profession in 2019. Since then, I have been consistently learning and perfecting my art.
We booked our maternity photo shoot with dope pixels photography last year and this year I booked my baby cake smash photo shoot and we are incredibly pleased .Ap brar was incredibly responsive to my questions prior to our photo shoot. During our shoot he was professional, friendly and very patient with my 2 kiddos. The photos we received were amazing! Absolutely love them! This was our 2nd photo shoot with ap brar and we will definitely be booking dope pixels photography again. Definitely recommend

We hired dope pixels photography to photograph our wedding, and we were very pleased with the results! I'm a bit of a photographer myself, so I had very specific requests on what I was looking for in a photographer. AP listened and delivered on all of his promises. It is a great relief to not have to worry about the reliability of a photographer on a busy day like your wedding, and that's what their professionalism did for us. We got our photos back on schedule, and we're thrilled with the results!
We hired Dope Pixels Photography for our son's cake smash and birthday party. AP did an excellent job with the pictures. He even made a short video of the whole function which was very unique and well detailed capturing every moment. We even got a fall photoshoot done from AP, which was mind-blowing. We love the memories Dope pixels created for us with the photographs he took. They are absolutely amazing and worth it. Apinder is very professional, detail oriented and just has an eye for everything, that the photos are perfection and art. The hardest part is to pick your favorites because all the photos turn so great. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Best family photographer in town!!
